Wake up at 6am (Main) Wake up my daughter and instruct her to get ready for school (brush teeth, wash face and get on clothes) ( Main ) Prepare her lunch (Main) Make sure why wife is awake 6:20am ( Could be considered Improving ) Assist daughter with breakfast ( Could be considered Improving ) Take a shower and prepare myself for work (brush teeth, wash face and get on clothes) ( Main ) Make sure wife and daughter get out of the house by am ( Could be considered Improving ) Pack gym bag and make sure work bag is ready to go ( Main ) Eat breakfast ( Main ) Leave for work by 7:40am (Main) 1. Differentiate the main actions between doing and improving your activities. Above I have listed Main or Could be considered Improving at the end of the task. All of these activities could be considered main tasks but the tasks that offer the potential for variance I noted with “Could be considered improving”. 2. Determine the overall manner in which variation has affected your activities. Each morning, my goal is determined by how little variation I have in these steps. Beginning with making sure my wife is awake at 6:20. If she is late getting out of bed then that means that the chances of her and my daughter leaving the house on time is going to be delayed. If it takes me too long to get my daughters breakfast prepared, then it delays me from being able to start getting myself ready to leave the house. The final task that holds some type of variance is the simple getting them out of the house. Now this task usually includes helping my daughter with grabbing her coat or shoes and making sure they all have lunch bags. If they forget anything then I may have to take it to them which would delay my task of getting to work on time.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
