them. They each reacted to a large drop in pH once adding an acid and a small increase in pH when adding the base to both the buffer and water. E.) Reflection 1. My assigned pH had higher values overall, with the actual pH being 6.8 and my measured value at 6.44. These values had a 0.36 difference. When adding base to the measured, the value change was 0.03 versus the predicted value change for the larger pH being 0.8. With the buffer the change when adding acid was by 0.11 with the predicted the change was 0.3. The predicted values showed less of a range versus the measured ones. However the predicted acid was higher then that of the original pH, this did not occur in the measured values. 2.The predicted versus measured acids and bases plus water both showed a fairly large change from base to acid. With the actual measured values going from 6.49 with base to 2.70 with acid. The predicted values went from 10.7 with a base all the way to 3.30 with an acid. The overall change of the measured values was 3.79 versus the overall change of the predicted values being 7.4. The predicted value for water when adding a base or acid was much higher with a greater change in values for acid and base then that of the measured value.
