thinks. He is slowly opening the door for hours and talking  about how brilliant his plan is when really it does not have to  take that long and he likes his uncle but does not like his eyes  seems to me like he is just crazy and this one thing is enough  for him to plan to kill him. It is also unreliable because he is  hearing a faint heart beat that keeps getting louder and louder  and then confesses to the cops and just goes crazy at the end  which we knew he was crazy all along. Throughout the first  person point of view we are seeing him go from very confident  to very afraid and I believe that toward the end he realizes that  maybe he was wrong about himself and he was not as smart  and smooth about his crime as he thought he was and the  readers also got to see that in him. It was really interesting to  read the story and really feel like you are waiting by the door  and waiting to see if the old man jumps up or not in the bed

What students are saying

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

I cannot even describe how much Course Hero helped me this summer. It’s truly become something I can always rely on and help me. In the end, I was not only able to survive summer classes, but I was able to thrive thanks to Course Hero.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
