1) The level of detail you need to know in order to do well on the exam will require a good understanding of similarities and differences between planetary bodies and moons. Exact numbers are not as important as knowing whether, say, the atmospheres of two planets are mostly carbon dioxide (e.g., Venus and Mars) or that the gas giants have atmospheres that are mostly hydrogen (e.g., Jupiter and Saturn), just as an example. 2) To help you keep track of all this, I recommend you continue the ‘bookkeeping’ exercise we started in class, as a way to organize the details of these similarities and differences. You might want to compare and contrast, for example, the main properties of Earth vs. Venus vs. Mars, or Mercury vs. the Moon, or inner (rocky) planets vs. outer (gaseous) planets. 3)Don’t forget to go back to the early lectures 1. True or False: Our Moon is the largest moon in the solar system 2. True or False: Saturn’s moon Titan has a dense atmosphere The most abundant element in the solar system is: A. SiliconB. CarbonC. HeliumD. Hydrogen 1.The only nation to land a probe on the surface of Venus is: 5. All of the following planets have a measurable magnetic field, except: 6.Which of these moons has a larger diameter than the planet Mercury?

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
