artist. He attended McKinley High School and was a part of the School newspaper. He photographed the school’s events and drew cartoons for it. Then he found a job at Kansas City where he met a talented artist Ubbe Iwerks, they became great friends and started working together. They started a small studio in 1922, they created short animated advertising films for local movie theatres. A film distributor cheated the two producers and then later Disney filed a bankruptcy. He moved to California to pursue his career. Disney and his brother Roy resumed the Alice series, and they invented a character called Oswald the Lucky Rabbit. Disneyland is a place full of identity ranging from all the different lands, to the characters, and to the movies. Walt Disney's vast legacy of cartoon characters were really popular, after the loss of control over his Oswald character, Walt Disney brainstormed and came up with a new cartoon character: a mouse named Mickey who was created as a replacement for Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, which was an earlier cartoon character created by the Disney studio. Mickey Mouse was created by Walt in 1928, he was a funny animal cartoon character and the mascot of the Walt Disney Company, and he was the first cartoon character to have a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. A number of Mickey Mouse short films released within a short time including Plane Crazy and soon became a household name. If we go by the trend, Mickey doesn’t seem to be going anywhere in the near future. He will remain a part of popular animation for as long as Disney is around. Walt created more and
