‘if’ is conditional; Iago uses this term greatly ACT 4: - Othello seeing the handkerchief is the ocular proof needed for him to believe whole- heartedly that Desdemona is cheating on him with Cassio - The handkerchief is a representation of Othello and Desdemona’s love - Cassio is ashamed of his relationship with Bianca because she is a prostitute - Even though Othello feels that Desdemona must die for cheating on him, he still loves her and will not enjoy the act of killing her - Othello agrees with Iago that Desdemona must die, but he continues to go back on what he says by telling him all the things that she could do to make it up to him - Iago uses more lies to talk Othello into killing Desdemona - Iago tells Othello to strangle Desdemona because it is a more ‘animalistic’ way of killing, vs poison - The way people move up in Venice is through family status and ties; Cassio has good standing with his wealthy family and this is a factor in why he got a job

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
