found out that the student in the school setting did contrary to the twenty-five rules of considerate conduct by P.M. Forni. This study indeed shows how the students are ignorant of the welfare and opinion of others with disrespect. Considering the large sample size of students who may have been considered in New York City, I will consider this article credible since the issue of acknowledging others has been discussed. Therefore, I will partially use this article in my research since it adds some new information to my topic.

Running head: ANNOTATED BIBLIOGRAPHY ON CHOOSING CIVILITY: “ACKNOWLEDGING OTHERS” 12 Santovec, Mary Lou. "To Improve Workplace Civility: ‘Do Unto Others …’". Women in Higher Education , vol 20, no. 8, 2011, pp. 24-24. Wiley , Doi:10.1002/whe.10229. The article on improving the workplace civility done by Mary Lou stipulates that the rights of others need to be respected. This article goes ahead to state that civility does not entail words only but also, involves respecting people’s time, listening and paying attention. The research points out some points on how to be civil such as; respecting others, peacefully disagreeing, having a positive attitude and considering empathy on others. I find this article credible to be involved in my research since it has pointed out the areas that can get one to acknowledge others in place of their welfare. It does not portray bias on the reality of the study topic on acknowledging others and respecting their rights. Hence, this research paper will be of much help in my study since it accredits my support that acknowledging others promotes the quality of life for others.
