When Adam and Eve decided to be like God and tried to know the difference between good and evil (Sharpe, 2015), suffering came as a consequence of their action. The problem is when we face suffering or evil in our life, we start questioning God. Why would a good, all powerful God that created us on his image let us suffer? Because of the fall and the suffering, we have experienced and still experiencing every day, it broke the trust between God and humans. Since we are born in a world, there is no way for human to escape the suffering and evil. 3. Briefly summarize the Christian worldview’s response to the problem of evil and suffering. Cite and reference the lecture and/or Chapter 9 in the textbook. The Christian worldview responds to the problem of suffering and evil in many ways.
