pajamas and a very huge shirt. She was a simple girl at home. Most of
the girls who's in Kaye's situation right now might probably be
wearing very short shorts and tank tops showing off their chests. I
never knew she could be this conservative and simple. And I respect
her for that.
But it's only up to respecting her and I promise that I will never fall
for her.
If you respect her, there's much probability that you'd fall in love with
her.
Ugh, curse my inner voice.
Kaye is sweet yet very tough. Well then, we're not even halfway done
yet, I can still do much more to make her go begging on my knees.

CHAPTER 6
-“Trip to Narnia?”
“
Y
ou know what, Katherine? You are such a beautiful human being…
I hope that someday, we’d be able to officially be in a relationship. I
think I’m starting to develop feelings for you.”
Looking at a peacefully
sleeping Carson, this scenario kept replaying in my head as if it was
the only song on a long playlist being on repeat. I kept grinning at the
thought of him actually starting to develop feelings for me.
Nah, I still have a long way to go.
Thinking of more ways to make him fall in love with me, I decided to
cook breakfast (my mom has taught me but she’s still way better) for
three: My mom, Carson and I. I don’t even remember how exactly
Ashley and I were able to carry a big guy who was heavily drunk and
asleep, and sneak him into a house of an overly protective mom.
Ashley offered to let Carson stay at their house (I mean, who in the
whole student body won’t like to bring home a gorgeous creature?)
but then I gladly told her that she had to take a rest and that she has
helped me enough and that I was in charge for this whole mess. (Too
much ands) In fact, it’s our game in which she just got dragged with.
Bringing him home wouldn’t even be an option since we don’t even
know where this dude lives.

As I get back to my room after cooking, I slammed my door shut and
saw that Carson was already awake making some stretches. I greet
him a good morning and a surge of curiosity came to his face.
I put on the tray of breakfast on to the table beside the bed and flops
myself on the bed beside him.
“Why the curious face?” I asked.
“Did – did, um something hap –?” He questioned, stuttering his words
out. Oh, is the player nervous?
I was laughing so hard at his question, hell as if something’s going to
happen. “Please don’t get your hopes up but no. Gosh, why would I
make out with someone I just met?” I said feeling so grossed out with
the thought. “I slept downstairs, for your information. So you owe me
a lot.” I threatened.
“Why not the other way around, idiot? Why didn’t you just stay here
and my gorgeous self downstairs? You just want me to owe you
something, don’t you?” Rolling my eyes, he did a mischievous smirk
and I just ignored it.
