a. Give each argument its own paragraph. b. Place in bold type each argument in favor of capitalism, and the one against capitalism. The arguments may turn out to be the first sentence of the paragraph, but they need not be. Papers that do not include their arguments in bold will be returned. c. Under no circumstance should you use bolded type for “emphasis,” as I do here! Bolding should only be for your premises and conclusion. Additional Paper Formatting guidelines: 1. Length, Spacing and Font Size: Papers written for undergraduate credit should be 5-8 pages, double- spaced, with font size 12. Graduate students ( only graduate students) should write 8-10 pages. 2. Citations: You may cite course related or lecture related textual references within the text in parentheses or use footnotes. In other words, you do not need to use footnotes, but you do need to cite your references. Be sure to give full bibliographical citations any references (including Internet cites) that do not come from course materials. 3. Bibliography: Place a bibliography at the end of your paper. 2

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
