Instruction: Go to Spreadsheet " Q2(c) " . Perform appropriate statistical tests on the data and answer the following questions. The value of the test statistic and the p-value must be given in your answers. (i) [3 marks] The standard deviation is one of the measures of financial risks. An investment instrument is said to be more risky than another investment instrument if it has a larger standard deviation (or variance). Test, at the 5% level of significance, whether or not the IAG share and the SUN share are of the same risk. (ii) [3 marks] Suppose that the statistical test in (i) is insignificant. The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
