Benefit to the company include: -Choose new skills your workforce gains, targeting skills to meet the needs of operation for now and in the future -Training the staff may result in better customer service, better work safety practices and productivity improvements -Demonstrate to the staffs that the company value them enough to invest I them, improving loyalty and staff retention Benefit to the staffs include: -As they acquire new skills, increasing their contribution to the business and building their self-esteem -The training they do may take them into other positions within the organization-better prospects and/or better pay
