Negative social influences of entertainment media. It makes people to know violence. People become less active in socializing. People who are involved regularly are physically unfit. Has led to high use of drugs in the youth (Jenkins, Ford & Green, 2013).

Entertainment media as a reflection for behaviours and attitudes in society. It brings out different aspects of reality in the society. Games have been a way of living in the society. The only difference now is that they are played on internet rather than physically. Media is a cultural construct. It reflects issues in entertainment such as pop culture and beauty pageant culture.

Cont: Culture is either derived or inherited. Therefore, with no culture, then there is no entertainment media. For the entertainment media to reach more people, it has to get based on diverse cultures.

Conclusion. American culture has highly shaped the entertainment media. It is very clear that entertainment media is how Americans attract the way of life. Cultures influence media entertainment for negative and positive images (Mirrlees, 2013). This helps transform the way people think.
