A business case is constructed on top of a particular action or particular decision and its other possibilities whereas a business plan is built on top of a company or the whole enterprise. The business plan may possibly consider a particular product or a product line or the whole business (M. Schmidt, 2015). 2. A business case forecasts the consequences of a cash flow and the actions other than financial whereas a business plan predicts the success of a business (M. Schmidt, 2015). 3. A business case questions about the success rate of a company on performing a particular action or task whereas a business plan questions about how a company will be benefited by following that particular plan.

This should also explain about the new roles which are added if any or the way existing roles change the results of the project (Mark, 2015).
