7. Tests ! Two tests, made available via Blackboard. ! Put in relevant box on shelves on 3 floor Arthur Lewis rd building: deadlines for submission will be announced in lectures and on Blackboard. ! Model answers posted on Blackboard afterwards. ! Collected by Teaching Assistants, corrected and marked, and returned in Exercise Classes. ! Marks will not count directly towards final assessment. However... ! Tests will count towards coursework assessment mark in same way as weekly exercises: one mark will be awarded for every piece of work handed in up to a maximum of 10 marks .

8. TurningPoint Revision Sessions ! During normal lecture periods. ! PROVISIONAL timing - Week 11. ! Aims: (a) Monitor general progress. (b) Focus for revision. (c) Enable YOU to assess your own progress and identify weaknesses. ! Compulsory but will not count towards final assessment.

9. Peer Assisted Study Scheme (PASS) ! Groups of 12-15 students working on weekly assignments. ! Second/Third-year students act as PASS leaders - two per group. ! Leaders do NOT teach - rather they help PASS groups work through the weekly tutorial exercises together collaboratively. ! 6-8 PASS groups will begin meeting in Week 3, w/c Monday 8 Oct. Times and venues of groups to be th confirmed via the Student System. ! Sign up for groups on the Student System - watch out for an email/Blackboard Announcement. ! Very good feedback from leaders and students who participate in PASS. !
