5. Select a payment option and following the remaining instructions. Once you have registered and enrolled, you can log in at any time to complete or review your homework assignments. Final Exam: The final exam is a standardized final exam prepared by the American  Chemical Society (ACS).  FINAL EXAM DATE: Sec-02 (Fri, 6-8 PM, May 9); Sec-80 (Mon, 6-8 PM, May 8) CALCULATORS: You should bring a calculator with you to class.  On my exams and the  final  exam, you are permitted to use a scientific calculator.   Programmable and graphing calculators are not permitted . ATTENDANCE Attendance in class is highly  recommended. It is not unusual for  POLICY: students who earn grades of F to have missed multiple classes. An  unexcused absence from a quiz or exam will result in a grade of zero  being   entered  for that quiz or exam.  If you must miss a quiz or exam  because of activity in a university  sponsored event or for a religious  observance, you must make arrangements BEFORE the  day of the quiz or  exam to make up the exercise.  If you must miss a quiz or exam  because of illness or other emergency, you must notify the instructor  within 24 hours  of the exercise in order to be eligible to make it up. 2
