What did you do to achieve your goal? Part 3 – New SMART Goals: Setat least two goals using the “SMART” acronym (see below). ONE of your goals relate to post-PCOA development and NAPLEX preparation.Specific– State exactly what you desire to accomplish. What will the goal accomplish? How and why will it be accomplished? It may be necessary to break down broad goals into smaller, more manageable components or goals. MUST M easurable – Create a goal that can be measured by a specific outcome. An outcome helps track how you are doing as well as whether or not you have achieved your goal. How will you measure whether or not the goal has been reached (list at least two indicators)? A chievable – Consider how you will achieve your goal by outlining the steps you will take to achieve the goal. Is it possible? Have others done it successfully? Do you have the necessary knowledge, skills, abilities, and resources to accomplish the goal? Will meeting the goal challenge you without defeating you?
