Re: Topic 9 DQ 2Hey Kay Cee,Implementing EBP requires a strategic and thoughtful approach based on an organizationsculture. In 2006, a study was conducted by Wallen, et al., assessing current knowledge, beliefs, and organizational readiness for implementing EBP among clinical research nursing staff at theNIH. This study found that participants in the EBP mentorship program had a more substantialincrease in perceived organizational culture and readiness for EBP and in EBP belief scores thanthose who did not participate in the EBP program. Qualitative findings suggested that leadershipsupport for a culture of EBP and the dedication of resources for sustainability of the initiativeneeded to be a priority for engaging staff at all levels (Fisher et al., 2017)Reference:Fisher, C., Cusack, G., Cox, K., Feigenbaum, K., & Wallen, G.
