our business running besides small maintenance for it and buy gum wholesale. The sources that we will acquire our money from will be primarily from personal funds, family, and friends. As shown in the financing section, our initial costs will be $694.00 dollars and our fixed costs will be $275.00. Since our start-up costs will be fairly small, obtaining these funds is practical if we pull from all three sources. As well as following a subsistence model, this business would be a salary-substitute firm. This wouldn’t be our main job because we are college students first; however it would be creating a small income for us on the side. Purpose of Business The way that we differ from an income model is that we aren’t expecting a growth comparable to larger and more profitable businesses. The Rolling Coats is not growth or income oriented, but rather we are need and service based. The idea of this business spawned from our own personal frustrations and the concerns of others when dealing with their coats upon going out at night. Many times there have been instances of coats being stolen and/or damaged as patrons of bars and parties go out at night. We wanted a safe place where we could store our personal belongings and not have to worry about

anything detrimental happening to them. In addition to serving the community with having a place to keep their belongings safe, we are also selling breath fresheners such as gum for $1 and giving away condoms for no charge at all. We decided to add selling
