correctly. In systems development, there are four things that help the operations run smoothly, and they are programming, conversion, production, and maintenance. Apparently, in the programming portion, this is where the system is translated into software program code. Conversion happens when the old system is transitioning to the new system. Production is when the system is up and running, and the translation is complete. Maintenance is when the system needs modifications or updates to correct errors or improve the efficiency of the of the system. I believe that production and patience are the most important because without production you won't have consumers and if you continuously keep up with the maintenance of a system you something detrimental can occur causing you to lose consumers as well. STUDENT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM to do correctly would have to be the conversion portion because not only the organization is used to the old system, but the consumers are used to it as well. If I had to pick which method a school should use for the development of a student system, I would have to say a component-based development. I like the idea of integrating several different web services from various suppliers. It allows the school to outsource the software development in-house and can focus on which services are working for their students or if there is a competitor service that could be more beneficial for their students. It will allow the school to analyze the functionality of their student development system as a whole which seems ideal to me. 5

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
