of my fellow pledge brothers attention. Next, for the delivery aspect of the RDA framework, I tried to open up my story purposefully and try my best to not use filler words and not uptalk. While I am working on these issues I recognize I have when I speak, I honestly think it was hard to point out several times that I did things because I made it a priority to think about when I was speaking, so I didn’t. the RDA framework, I did adapt. When I was speaking I caught too caught up with what I wanted to say and not how I wanted to say it. At 15 seconds, you’ll notice that I changed my entire pace when saying that “something that helped me”; when I realized I messed up how I was speaking because I was putting what I wanted to say above how I told my story I took a second to focus on my speed and slow it down, so that even though I was saying less what I said mattered more to my audience because they could understand it better and it was easier to pick up on. (2) Where did you fall short in this presentation? Please point out specific times in your speech where you underperformed and identify what you were lacking or doing wrong (i.e. at 2:10 I was swaying side to side and my feet were not firmly planted) After watching my recording, I think that while my gestures did benefit me a couple times, they were more distracting than beneficial, therefore I think it’s going to be something to work on in the future. At 5 to 7 seconds, it helped reinforce how I didn’t know where to go since my hands were kind of all over the place, yet from 7 to 15 seconds I really kept my hands in awkward places and it distracted from the story.

I cannot even describe how much Course Hero helped me this summer. It’s truly become something I can always rely on and help me. In the end, I was not only able to survive summer classes, but I was able to thrive thanks to Course Hero.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
