All motivation strategies have a way of building off each other. In having these strategies enforced in the work house, management can provide a friendly safe environment for not only patients but staff. Patients, visitors, and volunteers feel a positive energy when they come into the facility. Project and daily task will get done and goals will be met to maximize job performance. Hackman and Lawler came up with three psychological states that can help enhance motivation internally. (Millette & Gagne, 2008) Those three ways are having fullness of the work, responsibility for work outcomes, and knowledge of results. (Millette & Gagne, 2008) The three states mentioned are included in making one feel motivated in his or her career field.
