11. The cost of manufacturing an article is divided into materials labour, government tax and other charges.
In a certain year these costs were as follows.

In the following year the cost of materials doubled, the cost of labour increased by 50%, government
tax decreased by 33½ and other charges increased by 15%.
a)
Calculate the percentage increase in the cost of manufacturing the article

b)
The manufacturer now, sells the articles to a wholesaler at a profit of 40%.
Determine how much
the wholesaler pays for two hundred such items.

12. A rectangular block of wood measuring 10cm by 8cm by 3cm has a mass of 192g.
Find:

The density of the wood per cm
