leaders will allow the opportunity to ask what their plans are to turn the retention around. I will be so interested in reading your dissertation because I feel we have similar concerns about the school system and the state it is in due to teachers leaving the field yearly. I am not a teacher, but I am a dedicated volunteer and I see the need for teachers yearly and I would love to know the reason they leave. 2- Wow I think you are on to something with your topic. I always wonder how therapist handle issues of people and not have different personalities themselves. My god-sister is a therapist with her own business, and I ask her all the time do people personalities make her job hard. How can she smile when she us talking to someone that is crazy? Every time she would say that she was put on this earth to help people see their issues and address them. Now I think about when I am helping my friends get through their issues and how their problems become my problem but I guess when you are trained in that field you probably can separate the therapist from a normal person. I look forward to reading your dissertation.

Re: Topic 5 DQ 2 Consider your proposed research topic. How would you formulate your research questions using what you know about quantitative methodologies? Be sure to include both conceptual and operational definitions of variables. Based on your current understanding of quantitative methodologies, what hurdles or barriers might you have to address to move your research forward if using this methodology? When or how would you know that a quantitative methodology would not work for your study? answer There is no "one best way" to structure a quantitative research question. However, to create a well- structured quantitative research question, I recommend an approach that is based on four steps : (1) Choosing the type of quantitative research question you are trying to create (i.e., descriptive, comparative or relationship-based); (2) Identifying the different types of variables you are trying to measure, manipulate and/or control, as well as any groups you may be interested in; (3) Selecting the appropriate structure for the chosen type of quantitative research question, based on the variables and/or groups involved; and (4) Writing out the problem or issues you are trying to address in the form of a complete research question. Example: What are the main reasons underprivileged children struggle in school? How often do children from poverty fail in the classroom vs students that are raised in a more stable household? What percentage of disadvantage students continue their education after high school? What percentage of those deprived students go to college and major in Business? How many teachers leave after the first year and is this causing students to repeat grades because they are learning new teachers and their new teaching style?

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
