Once that is taking care off, they both join the dinner and have a great time coming back to their house Mathilde had removed the necklace from her neck and put in a pocket while being at the dinner, but when she gets home she figures out that the necklace was no longer here. After looking for the necklace for the three days they decide to make an important decision by selling everything they had, in order to pay for the necklace lost. It Mathilde and her husband 10 years before working hard to pay back their debt until finally, they meet MS. Forester again which tell them The Necklace was fake. In the necklace Mathilde is shown to be a dynamic character in the story. She’s a housewife who is poor and feels that she would be losing her pride if she showed up and this event in which she and her husband has invited by his boss. The story reflects on real life in the way in which when people are asking for more that they can get have financial or handle physical, sometimes you end up by losing everything. Mathilde and a husband live in France where the live in a very hard financial situation. The couple lives face financial difficulties and have a lot of debt.
