PCC/I Identify a support group that would be beneficial to Andrew Davis related to his position in the community. A 12-step program would be helpful for Andrew. The basic premise of the 12-Step model is that people can help one another achieve and maintain abstinence from the substances or behaviors to which they are addicted. They can do this through meetings in which they share their experiences with one another and support each other in the ongoing effort of maintaining abstinence. The judjement-free interaction would help him see that there are other people going through this. It would also allow him to learn to receive help from others rather than always giving as pastors tend to do. The best part is that 12-step meetings take place all over the city and at various times to suit his schedule. Andrew can attend as many as necessary every day for 90 days.
