3.Provide an argument for or against adopting a chase strategy for a major airline call center.When a organization’s production meets the demand and volume of a product from one cycle to the next is known as the chase strategy. This strategy is usually used when the demand is not predictable and when there is no inventory at all. Companies, such as Boeing, use the chase strategy to produce only enough goods to meet or match the demand for goods that customers ask for. For example, at the beginning of second

The problem with a chase strategy for an airline call center is that it can result in a higher employee turnover rate which usually leads to displeased employees. Customers used to book and complete their airline ticket process through booking center. However, nowadays, customers book their airline tickets online. Thus, there is a huge difference between booking tickets in two different timeline. Moreover, during summer time and holidays, people like to go our and travel, so the demand for the call center is probably going to be higher during that time frame.
