Opinion about the 5’S concepts After experiencing implement the concept of 5s in Surau Inasis YAB, we all agreed that 5s concept should be implemented in many more places in University Utara Malaysia in order to cultivate the culture of 5s among the students and staff of UUM. Since by nature people are resistant to change this can be the biggest obstacle to overcome. By using the slow and steady approach we will be able to gradually change the culture. The key is to start small and never stop improving. Other than that, as the first timer, we found that it was quite difficult to implement 5s in the big area such as the Surau YAB because there were many area should be covered such toilet, ablution area, reading area and so on. This, may be difficult to sustain if the community are not familiar with the culture. In the end, 5s concept really helpful and make the environment more pleasant and organized. Daily follow-up cleaning is necessary in order to sustain this improvement. A successful implementation of the shine step will include a schedule, checklist, assignments of responsibilities and tasks, and adequate tools and supplies to complete the tasks. Cleaning

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
