Security cameras and other measures are being used in workplaces to assist in these matters. Workplace Violence: Workplace violence has increased in recent years. Workplace violence can take many forms such as pushing, shoving, fist-fighting, verbal threats, robbery, stalking, etc. Workplace violence can be between customers and employees as well as with other employees. Human resource specialists have to be proactive and develop zero-tolerance anti-violence policies. Ergonomics An area of health and safety that is attracting more attention is ergonomics.
