of society is definitely attainable. As I finish up I cannot seem to find the answer to my question. Leung proved to me video games can definitely be a detriment to society, though McGonigal provided many great evidence that links to a positive outlook for gaming. As a person who loves video games I was always biased towards gaming but having experienced the negative outcome from gaming, I’ve grown from it. I believe that is why I chose this topic, to convince myself that gaming is bad. But like Yanigan, I believe there are just too many factors that play into this intricate and puzzling issue. Therefore I am greatly conflicted and have yet to find an answer. However this intellectual journey has open many roads for me and I plan to go deeper down those roads in the future to find the answer to the question: are video games as bad as we depict them to be? The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
