confidence to seek help among adolescents. The teen MHFA is 3 × 75 min training for students between 15-18 years (Hart et al., 2016). A research was conducted in Australia to determine the effectiveness of the program by subjecting 998 students to the program (Hart et al., 2016). The result showed an improvement in student knowledge of mental health and reduction in stigmatizing attitudes. There was also increased confidence in providing assistance as well as help seeking intentions. The main drawbacks are that the teenagers prefer receiving assistance from the adults. As the study focused on the behavior of the students before and after training the article shows that the participating children needed the consent of the parents. These results can be used to show that the training of the teens has improvement towards their experience with mental health and as such the teen MHFA is a significant program (Hart et al., 2016). This information is useful such that the understanding those teens prefer assistance from adults, the healthcare needs for mental health students require reinforcement of the adults.
