This could be negative because there’s no more human to human interaction. If there’s a problem the kiosk can’t talk with the human to figure it out. They could also confuse the older generations who are not as tech savvy as the younger ones. This could draw baby boomers and Generation X’s to go to restaurants and have a human take their order. Also, our cell phones now provide us with apps that allow us to order from from our phones and pick it up without waiting. This again is positive for the consumers who are in a rush and need to eat. Restaurants don’t have that kind of service. This is negative for the older generations who are not tech savvy. They might not know how to order from their phones so will decide to play it safe and go to a restaurant instead, Economic In the economy, if restaurants lower their prices than fast food chains will suffer. If peoples wages increase then consumers will go to fancier restaurants and stay away from the cheap fast foods chains. But if their wages are lowered they will go for a cheap meal at a fast food chain instead of spending a lot of money at a restaurant. Though, if peoples budgets are cut tremendously they will stay at home and eat to save even more money. The economy has a huge impact on fast food chains. In a recession many people lose or don’t have a lot of money so fast food chains thrive during these times considering their food is very cheap.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
