3 strategy is the prevention of abuse” (pg. 255). Our campaigns and workshops are not limited to schools only, through events in the community, church, and in our physical location, we seek to outreach women at all levels. The media also “provides a venue for communicating pro-social messages through entertainment and public information campaigns” (Swanger & Petcosky, 2003, 269). Given the significant role that the internet plays in society, we have also developed a web page to provide women with an easy access to our resources. On site sessions and social gathering where women can have a safe ground to talk about their experiences and empower others, are also available. In order to make Dating matters: Women Helping Women more successful at preventing intimate abuse, we can integrate our program with other social services. “Integration of services at the local level is a critical component in reducing system fragmentation, improve organizational communication, resource sharing, and attending to policy, and services gaps” (Swanger & Petcosky, 2003, 254). Preventing and treating abuse requires a multidisciplinary approach to be successful at serving the needs of the victims.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
