The advertisement is selling a man product, but the commercial is actually targeting women because research has shown that women purchase nearly 70% of all male toiletry products in a household. That is why they used a shirtless man in this commercial (Donald, 2015). The advertisement targets the male audience who want to become like man, but the commercial uses the female to get the idea.
ConclusionAfter analyzing the advertisement of Stelara and old spice commercial, I notice that both of the videos have used the three persuasive devices to persuade consumers to buy their goods. Using
