(f) Each page of the completed assignment must be numbered consecutively. Ensure that the pages are in the correct order before you staple them inside the cover. Each assignment must be stapled inside its own cover and posted separately. Make use of the official assignment envelopes that you have received upon registration. Before you submit your assignment, please go through the following checklist: Did you: 9 1. Furnish your postal address? 2. Write your student number in the space provided? 3. (h) Please note that we are not able to receive or handle assignments via fax or e-mail. Such assignments will be neither acknowledged nor marked. (i) Completed assignments may be posted in Unisa assignment boxes located in Pretoria, Midrand, Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban, Polokwane, Nelspruit, Umtata, Kimberley and East London. Addresses for these assignment boxes are provided in the Your services guide @ Unisa brochure. (j) Completed assignments may also be posted to the University in the official assignment envelopes. Please note that if you send in your assignment in another type of envelope, it will be sent back to you. The envelopes provided by the University for the submission of assignments are C4 size envelopes, and require extra postage. Please remember to pay the correct postage required. Consult your post office before affixing any stamps to these envelopes. (k) You may also submit assignments online by using my Unisa. Please follow the instructions provided in the Your services guide @ Unisa brochure. (l) Unisa does everything possible to ensure that assignments reach us safely. It does, however, sometimes happen that assignments do not reach us. Therefore, please make and keep copies of all your assignments before forwarding it to the University. (m) If you submit Assignment 01, it will be marked electronically and a statement of your results will be sent to you. If you submit Assignment 02, the marked assignment will be posted back to you. Your name, address and postal code must therefore be clearly and correctly filled in on the assignment cover. Assignment marks are also available on myUnisa. (n) Do not attach different assignments to one another and do not submit different parts of the same assignment separately. (o) Although we encourage you to form study groups in which you can share information and discuss subject contents we strongly discourage you from copying assignments. When submitting an assignment, you are expected to demonstrate your own understanding of the module contents. Copying of assignments will not be tolerated.
