operate at optimal speed while fulfilling the requests made by these external clients. Our systems will beprotected by a firewall, and filtering hardware we acquire for the purpose of allowing traffic on our network to move in an efficient manner. An investment into cloud technology would prove pivotal here, as it would allow our remote locations to host data that our providers throughout the world are able to access once they provide the proper credentials for doing so. CIOX will maintain local resources for our financial systems, and for any printing/mailing of physical documentation requested by our clients. Thesesystems will operate on servers we will house in data centers at our various locations and serve the over 18,000 clients that login to our systems and submit these types of requests. Our printing and financial systems won’t require the same amount of bandwidth as the requests made to our remote locations for the data, we house so the costs for maintaining these services won’t present a problem. The expected amount of outbound traffic for our systems will be an average of 500/600mb/s, so our investment in a 1 GB/s connection will be adequate even in times of increased activity on our network. To reduce the chances of a possible node failure on our network we will implement a mesh network topology. A mesh network is a network in which the devices, or nodes, are connected so that at least some, and sometimes all, have multiple paths to other nodes.
