Put yourself in the other person’s shoes and always go by the motto of “think twice before you post [anything]” whether it is a comment, status or picture (Polsky, Lam Par 9). If we all take these safety measures in using social networking sites and also limited amount of time spent on there, we can all move towards a safer environment as well as an improvement in social networking. Whether it becomes obvious or not, social networking, unquestionably have its negatives. For as long as it has been presented social networking has been mainly used to connect with friends and families. However as technology advances, social networking has become a detriment and opens the door to many terrible possibilities. When not used correctly, sites such as Facebook serve as a distraction and causes isolation, as well as allowing for bullying and sexting. Social networking now belongs to a large range of audiences including adolescents. We must take the proper step to keep users like teens on safer, more appropriate sites.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
