Classroom Management MEDIA USE LOG DIRECTIONS: a)Instruct the learners to bring out a sheet of paper. b)Direct the learners to think of the past week, and record their use and interaction with media and information providers (such as internet, social media, TV, radio, newspaper, etc.). c) Have them indicate how many hours were spent engaged with each one. Remind them that these do not have to be exact, and they can estimate the number of hours they spend each week. wEG9yWc2 B. Establishing a purpose for the lesson Explain the purpose of the pretest. Presentation of output 1. Instruct the learners to prepare a report by answering the following questions: Which media provider did they spend the most time? What roles do media play in their lives? 2. Call some learners to present to class their report. C. Presenting examples/instances of the new lesson Instruct the learners to open a google browser to open the link that the teacher will be given. POST IT! THE LOW-TECH FUTURE Remind the learners that they are living in the 21st Century, where people are dependent on technology. As the learners to imagine waking up one day to find no Internet, libraries, and cell phones. Newspapers, magazines, radio stations and TV channels have also disappeared. 1.The learners will be grouped into five (5). 2.Each group will choose a name for their group then make a yell.
