Other Tests Considered to Asses Sandy’s Current Issue Various tests can be conducted to diagnose acute sinusitis such as the complete blood count and computed tomography scan. The Complete Blood Count (CBC) will specifically help me to understand the general health of Sandy. The CBC also enable me to know if the white blood cells, red blood cells, and the platelets have been affected by the infection of the sinuses. The CT scan can be used to investigate whether Sandy has a tumor in the nasal cavity or paranasal sinuses.
