Goals:In terms of goals, we should consider what are the main target behaviors, skill and knowledge we want to teach our group. These behaviors, skills and knowledge should be acceptable to our direct care staff and we should ask ourselves are we teaching skills and behaviors to our direct care staff that is important to create significant changes in their professional life and the lives of individuals they work with.Methods: First of all, you will explain the methods and why we choose these method in a friendly jargon and ask their opinion. When it is considered from the perspective of individualdifferences, it will help to increase motivation and will be more team-based approach. Learning styles, prior experiences and other elements will influence how we will provide training to our direct care staff. It is not ethical and acceptable if we just trying to explain the training in behavioral terms. Since the staff members who will be trained generally are not familiar to the technical jargon of applied behavior analysis. It does not help our staff members, it is just confusing. Jargon allows practitioners from the same discipline to effectively communicate with each other, but it may create barriers when communicating with
