Part E: Conclusion The ‘Victorian Public Health and Wellbeing Plan 2015-2019’ is a scheme implemented by the Victorian Government in hopes of reducing the gap of health inequalities present in the community and to improve their health and wellbeing. This report has demonstrated that although Victorians have progress immensely over the years in relation to health and wellbeing, there is still a need for improvement, particularly involving the six priority areas and at-risk populations. The plan comprises of the Victorian Health which explores all aspects of health, including the three identified determinants considered in this report; ’income’, ‘age’ and ‘access to health services’. The strategies that follow the health outcome in each determinant is devoted to improving the mental health of all at-risk groups that are still vulnerable in the current health system.
