As the temperature increases, the rate movement heat has the ability to accelerate the rate of diffusion due the increasing the speed of molecules thus enabling a quicker pace of reaction. Thus, an increase in the temperature of a substance implies that the average kinetic energy of the particles of the substance has increased. As the kinetic energy of the particles increases, the particles begin to move faster. The experiment aimed to determine whether temperature can influence the rate of a reaction. The investigation clearly showed that temperature is the pinnacle for a faster reaction, highlighting as the temperature increased, the speed of reaction increased, therefore diffusion occurred at a faster rate. The demonstration of Osmosis MATERIALS AND METHOD As described in the Human Physiology 1 Practical Manual VU, 2019 No changes were applied according to the materials and methods given. RESULTS In this experiment, it illustrates the demonstration of osmosis and how different solutes effect the net movement of water. The overall result is aimed to utilise whether they are existing substances of either glucose, protein, or sodium chloride is prevalent to net movement. Glucose is not able to go through a plasma membrane and therefore needs assistance by facilitated diffusion.Protein has the ability to go through the selectively permeable membrane passively due to the size it is. Sodium chloride is an ion, therefore it is minuscule in size, creating the ability to go through the semi permeable membrane passively.
