followers to do the tasks assigned. The leader can never motivate his employees only when he does not plays the authoritative role in the organization. He should present himself to be inthe best position to make the final decision for the entire team. There is a need to accomplish good level of skills in communicating with the people in the organization both horizontally and vertically. It would help all the members to completely understand the requirements and the working process in the organizational networks. He has disregard for the conventional processes which are followed by the team leaders because he does not believe in the processes to change their criteria for working. He believes in creating the friendly working environment in the organization so that the employees can have pleasure from their role as well as the they gain the sense of responsibility being accomplished once they reach their goal. He always had a philosophy of having a thorough understanding of all the ins and outs of the business to have a hold over all the dimensions of the business.Branson has the leadership traits of being more transformational rather than being transactional. He tries to develop a problem solving sort of communication and relationship with his co-workers. Branson’s actions in the organizations are the evidence of his traits which proved successful in motivating the employees and to engage them in the working of the entire company.[ CITATION Bas091 \l 16393 ]The leadership style of transactional workers focusses on the reward and punishment especially when workers are not able to complete their task on time or because of their bad quality work. They have the ideology of encouraging the working by giving them incentives in the form recognition, rewards or higher pay in the form of bonus, etc. also, they threatens them by either demoting them or by reducing their cash incentives.
However, in case of transformational leadership, they follow a strategy of collective vision where the self-interest of the employees are way much behind then that of the collective benefits of the company as a whole. The unique point of such leaders is that they have the capability of developing a new visionary impact on their employees and hence motivating them.
