Homework Homework assignments will be posted to Connect in three sets with the following due dates: Homework Set 1 : September 19th Homework Set 2 : October 24th Homework Set 3 : November 30th Each set will contain multiple assignments. All assignments will be posted to Connect and will appear on Canvas under Assignments. Homework is due at 11:59 PM EST on the due date. Connect will automatically submit your homework for you at this time. Assignment settings will vary from assignment to assignment (such as the number of attempts, the penalty for incorrect answers, etc.), but will be described in the assignment instructions in Connect. I encourage (but do not require) you to work on the problem sets with your peers. There are no make-ups for homework. POP QUIZZES I will administer eight in-class pop quizzes throughout the semester. The quizzes will contain simple questions about recent material. They are meant to incentivize you to come to class and do the readings. I will not administer make-up quizzes. However, I will drop the lowest two. CLASS COMMUNICATION PDF lectures, the class syllabus, and other printable materials will be available on Canvas. Often, we will solve problems and draw diagrams on the blackboard which will not be posted on Canvas. If you must miss a class, it is your sole responsibility to find out what was done that day.
