reading list. After everything and protest of people discussing the book finally on December 15, 2008 a meeting was held amongst the school board in which the ban was reversed and voted to return the books to the approves Reading list.I believe that the ban was unnecessary and was not needed they wasted all this time just for the book to be brought back and be sold everywhere and read everywhere. I personally think that no book should really be banned due to the fact you have to by a book to read it or check it out from somewhere and you do not have to pick that book up. If you think it is inappropriate and can not be read by your eyes that does not mean other wont like what is in the book. If I were to write a book on tips in the bedroom and you find that it is very inappropriate and has very strong language in it that you did not like so you try to get it banned mt argument would be that.I wrote the book and made it for an intended audience now just because you are not someone who enjoys it approves of the book does not mean that other s wont like it. I wrote the book for someone that is going to read it. I would also put up facts like my sales of the book and get reviews of the people who has read it and who enjoys it. No matter what you write and do there will always be that somebody to tear it down when all they have to do is mind their business and let other people enjoy something just because they don’t like it doesn't mean someone else will not either. That is the reason I believe the Great Gatsby’s ban was very unnecessary and inappropriate.
