Besides Napoleon’s progress having influenced the War of 1812 and the Toussaint l’Ouverture’s slave revolt in Haiti, Napoleon’s influence generally made europe into friends and enemies with the built alliances. Although many of France’s alineces were altered throughout his years as a leader, his constant enemy was England. Overall, the threat of Napoleon brought nations together to fight to sustain and even expand their territories. This sense of nationalism flushed France but couldn’t save every nation.
