learning is tailored to accommodate each student’s unique learning style. Students learn differently with some learning faster than others. An investment in online education will assist in covering the unique needs of all learners. Investing in e-learning will ensure that the learning institutions retain all the students they take in for a program. Majority of the students have numerous events occurring in their lives. Some of them have to take up part time work to support themselves or may be actively engaged in sports. Online education provides an opportunity where the can take part in other activities and learn at the same time. They do not have to drop out of school. Investing in e-learning facilitates easier monitoring of the success and progress of the student. It provides a web-based curriculum that monitors the progress of the learner. It illustrates the work covered, information known to the learner and the requirement for graduation. Therefore, public schools need to invest a majority of their technology resources on e-learning. In conclusion, the internet has revolutionized information communication and education. It has increased their access, reduced cost, improved quality and enhanced accessibility. Public schools should also dedicate more of their technology resources to e-learning. Reference
