room. You may hear the clean room also referred to as the IV room or the buffer area. Access to the clean room is restricted to properly trained and garbed personnel. You must put on sterile gloves immediately upon entering the clean room. Bring into the clean room only those supplies needed for the immediate preparation of sterile compounds. Do not locate computers, printers, or other devices that are not essential to the immediate sterile compounding process in the clean room. The floors in the clean room should be covered and heat-sealed to the surrounding walls. Caulk or otherwise seal all joints or cracks in flooring, walls, and ceilings to minimize the buildup of dust and dirt. The surfaces of floors, walls, ceiling tiles, and lighting fixtures must be smooth, nonporous, and easy to clean. A pharmacy-designated HVAC system should pump HEPA-filtered air into the clean room to create a positive-pressure environment. The positive pressure within the clean room ensures that the airflow moves outward from the clean room, through the anteroom, and continues in the direction of the outer pharmacy area.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
