to love the other gender, and the reason this is happening is because God died on the cross for us. Marriage is something I only desire to do once in my life, and this belief is something that has been enhanced through taking this course. I feel as if I would be letting God and the Church down if I ever married someone that i was not completely certain about. I now understand that marriage is so much more than just the wedding day. With your spouse, you need to figure out kids, finances, and other small details. If you are not entirely in love with someone it will probably not work out, or you may end up not happy. The marriage interview project was very beneficial for me. I loved hearing my parents talk about parts of their relationship that I have never heard before. I realize that you need to know the person really well before you marry them, because you will be spending every moment the rest of your life with that person. After talking with them, I know that if I am ever in a relationship that I need to force or try very hard to make work that it is probably not a life long relationship. I hope one day I can find a partner that compliments me as my parents compliment each other. 3. How is the Catholic Discipleship Project valuable to you? Give evidence for your answer. O’Connell 3 opened my eyes to see that where I choose to spend my next four years will impact my life forever. I think that going to a private, jesuit university will enhance my faith life. I think that if I went to a big, public university, I may lose sight of my faith and will not have a lot of outside influence of faith in my life. I know that all of the opportunities will help me learn more about my faith and how to live it out. I interviewed Danielle Macpherson and she is a sophomore at SLU, so she really gave me a good explanation of all that SLU has to offer. I love doing service, so I know that SLU will give me many opportunities for service. I know that I will learn more about what it means to be a Christian and how my talents and time can benefit others. By continuing service and retreats in college, I will keep living out my vocation to serve God and other people. Learning about the special programs and Campus and programs at SLU definitely
