Energy Conservation The conservation of energy is vital to the existence of life on the planet Earth. Harvesting non-renewable resources need to be limited, and harvesting of renewable recourses needs to begin. When company’s harvest non-renewable resources like coal, oil, and natural gas they release carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. This release adds to the greenhouse effect.
